Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a Dorcas Adilewa who allegedly faked her kidnap to defraud her father, Taiwo Adilewa.
Dorcas’ friend, Ifeoluwa Ogunbanjo, was also arrested for her alleged involvement in the fraud.
Reports have it that the 19-year-old Dorcas conspired with Ogunbanjo to execute the scheme and allegedly demanded N600,000 ransom.
Taiwo reportedly informed the police about the kidnap of his daughter , who uncovered the deception
