Police arrest man with human eye meant to be sold for N250k (Photo)

The Niger state police command has arrested a 35-year-old man whose name was given as Shuaibu Ibrahim.

According to reports, the suspect is a dealer in human part and was found with a human eyeball upon his arrest.

Shuaibu was nabbed by police detectives attached to Gawu Babangida Division in Gurara LGA of Niger State while on a routine patrol of the area on Thursday November 29th.

Upon interrogation, the suspect said the eyeball was removed from a victim of communal clash between Igbira and Bassa people in Nasarawa State.

He added that he was working with an accomplice named Ojo and was meant to sell the eyeba;ll for N250K.

“My job is to deliver human parts given to me by Ojo to his clients across the northern states. We make quick money in this business but I cannot tell what the buyers use them for,” he said.

The suspect according to the police will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded.
