N25,000 Airport Salary Earner Returns N1.2M Belonging To A Passenger

Joseph Akilo, a staff of Aviation Logistics and Management Limited (ALML) situated at the Lagos Airport has been praised for his honesty.

Joseph, who earns N25,000 monthly, reportedly found and returned the sum of $3,338 (about N1, 218,370) lost by a passenger who boarded a Virgin Atlantic Airways flight to London. 
Frank Abebemi owner of the money had the cash placed in two separate envelopes, and misplaced it as he was going through profiling at the counters of the airline. The envelope however had the details of the owner making it easy for it to be returned.
At first Frank was unaware he lost money until he searched his luggage and discovered the loss.

Reacting to the news, a source said: “Without telling anyone, as some of the workers there might want to convince him not to report it, Akilo secretly took the envelopes to the Station Manager of Virgin Atlantic (Gloria).”
