Unknown gunmen reportedly stormed Kolo Police Station in Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa State, at about 8am today killing one police officer and injuring three others. According to some officers who escaped unhurt, they suspect the attack was carried out by suspected oil thieves.
This is happening barely a week after 4 soldiers were ambushed and killed by suspected militants at Letugbene community in Southern Ijaw local government area of the state.
