Mustapha Akanbi, a former Pioneer Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practice and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) and former President of the Court of Appeal has died.
According to reports, Akanbi, died in the early hours of today June 3rd at a private hospital in Ilorin, He died at the age of 85.
The late Akanbi was born in September 1932 and was called to the English Bar in 1963. In 1964, he was then called to the Nigerian Bar before joining the Ministry of Justice where he became a Senior State Counsel in 1968.
He is expected to be buried by 12pm today at his GRA residence in Ilorin.
