A pastor identified as Abiodun in the ikpinsa community of Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State was recently slammed with accusations of involving in fetish activities in the town.Before the accusations were made known, Oba Omoniyi Olufunmilayo, the oba of the community had on Tuesday ordered Abiodun’s land and house located in the Ayedun area of Akure, be sealed up.
The said Abiodun, was accused of burying a coffin and other fetish items on his property.
A source who spoke with Punch said:
“The failure of the pastor to remove the fetish items on the land prompted the people of the community to take action against him.
“The Akapinsa of Ipinsaland, Oba Omoniyi Olufunmilayo, ordered that palm fronds should be placed in front of his house and the land, which traditionally means that the house has been sealed up until kabiyesi reverses the order.”
The source added that his properties will remain locked until the pastor removes all the items he buried on the land.
The pastor has reportedly vacated the community with his whereabouts unknown as of the time of filing this report
