ASUU Suspends Strike, Instructs Lecturers To Resume Work Immediately

Good news,  Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended it’s six days strike till October.

This is to allow the government fulfill pledges made. University Lecturers have also been instructed to resume their functions tomorrow.
The decison was made following an intense meeting between top government officials and members of the union. a memorandum of understanding was signed with the federal government delegation led by the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige.
