A 37-year-old HIV Positive Ugandan man, Salongo Christopher Kityo, was on Tuesday arrested for defiling his 11 year old daughter.
Salongo, who is a fisherman by profession was arrested after his daughter recounted her ordeal in the hands of her father, to her mother Namiiro. The mother immediately alerted one of the security guards in the village, who in turn contacted the Office in charge of Mpala Police Post, Joseph Ssekitoleko.
Kityo was however beaten to a pulp before the police arrived an angry mob. He was alter taken to Entebbe General Hospital for treatment before being taken to Mpala Police Post.
Lydia Namiiro, recounted how she came home from church in the wee hours of Tuesday morning and met her husband drunk. Her daughter immediately her daughter she was in serious pain after the dad defiled her.
