The Man Who Died At Burning Man Festival

Aaron Joel Mitchell was rescued from the flames of the festival's signature burning of a towering effigy Saturday but later died

Aaron Mitchell a 41 year old man from Oklahoma has been identified as the man who died at the Burning Man festival .Aaron was pulled from the burning structure and treated on scene before being airlifted to a burn center and he later died at the UC Davis Hospital burn center California. Approximately 70,000 people from all over the world gathered for the festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.According to Aaron’s mother, “It was his first time at the Burning Mad.” Sadly his last.

The pictures below depicts how Aaron ran into the fire, fast enough and avoided being caught by the law enforcement and the Rangers he tried to stop him until he made his way to the beautiful burning flames as if he, he was seduced by it.

Aaron was  swallowed up in flames very fast  as emergency services tried to battle their way through in an attempt to rescue him

Pershing County Sheriff said in a statement Sunday night that rescuers had to leave Aaron because a section of the effigy was falling 

The masses could not believe their eyes when Aaron head for the wooden effigy and was covered in flames on Saturday night. The rangers tried to stop him but to no avail, as he escaped their reach in other to get to the fire.In a statement made by the Pershing County Sheriff Sunday night, the rescuers tried their best and made the call to leave him because that section of effigy was falling apart. May he find peace where he is heading now.
