American rapper Joe Budden is not here for people who use others without appreciating them.
Speaking on his popular podcast,Everyday Struggle, Joe sat down with Dj Akademiks to discuss the fusion of Afrobeats and Carri bean sounds which gained more ground in the US all thanks to Wizkid’s collaboration with Drake on the song ‘One Dance.’
Joe said people need to stop ripping Wizkid’;s style if they won’t support him.
“Wizkid’s album came out. We’ve never talked about it, and it’s amazing. I don’t think that it is fair that all you niggas can steal Wizkid’s Carribean-fucking steal and flow and songwriting and not buy the fucking album.”
He insisted that Wizkid invented this creation, this fusion, which is being ripped off by American artistes and said it is unfair that they have refused to promote Wizkid as they should.
