Police Arrest Cultists Who Invaded Police Station To Rescue One Of their Detained Member

Suspected cult members in Bayelsa,have been arrested by the police command in the state after they invaded Peremabiri Divisional Headquarters to release one of their members, Prince Ayibalaifa. Prince was reportedly detained for assault. .

In their mission, the cultists were said to have injured a policeman, Corporal Elijah Osara.
The suspect include; Douye Koufe, 23; Wisdom Reuben, 23; Solomon Jackson, 18; Samuel Odozi, 20; Thomas Canan, 23; Andy Daves, 24; and Junior Japhter, 23. .

Upon interrogation, the admitted to being members of the Greenlanders’ cult. Douye Koufe,however claimed to belong to a different cult group called Icelanders. The boys according to the police commissioner of the state will be persecuted soon.

Speaking on the issue, the commissioner said: ’’They actually rescued Prince Ayibalaifa and escaped, but they were re-arrested.’’
