Kaduna-based Aisha Laah, made news when news of her fiance been snatched by her then best friend, Farida went up on social media.
The story was that Aisha was set to marry her sweetheart Junaid, who had paid her bride price and their wedding already fixed.
She recalled,
“I was so excited and on the 16th of July 2016, Junaidu met my parents and paid my bride price! He paid N100,000 Sadaki and N50,000 kudin gaisuwa. I was overjoyed! They fixed 26th of December for the wedding Fatiha! Everybody that knew me knew Junaid!”
The wedding however never happened as Junaid ended up marrying Aisha’s best friend Farida in March 2017.
In a recent interview, Aisha said her fiance and best friend new eachother whenever they visited him.
“We went out together. I would not know when they started. But what keeps coming to me is, I think I am not sure. Junaid has a habit of calling my friends to complain to them about me, whenever we fought, they called me talk to me and we got back together. I think that’s how they started talking.”
