An 8-year old has been blinded in one eye after another child threw a stone at her. The blinded girl’s mother made the claim.
According to doctors, the girl Olivia Bell’s pupil was split after the stone hit her. The incident is said to have happened when Olivia, from Llanrumney in Cardiff , was playing outside her home.
The girl’s mum who spoke with Wales Online said police are unable to take action against the child who reportedly blinded Olivia as they are both under10, which is the age of criminal responsibility.
She however spoke out so parents can know throwing stones as simple as it sounds can have a grave consequence.
